I’m a Toronto-based artist who has been painting since 2004. Working primarily in acrylic and watercolour, I create expressive landscapes and abstract paintings inspired by emotion, place, and the way a moment can feel.

My approach is intuitive. I’m less interested in simply reproducing what I see and more interested in capturing what I experience—through colour, movement, texture, and atmosphere.

I paint from my home studio in Toronto, where ideas often begin with a place, a memory, or simply the desire to put paint on a canvas. Each painting develops through experimentation, allowing the image to evolve naturally.

My work has been exhibited in Toronto and is collected by private buyers. Through my paintings, I hope to create something that connects with people personally and gives them a feeling they want to bring into their own space. Lou
